Split-Sole vs. Full Sole?

I%26#039;ve been using full sole leather ballet slippers for quite a while now, but I was just wondering if there%26#039;s a difference between these and split-sole slippers? And is one better than the other?

Split-Sole vs. Full Sole?
Split soles are easier to dance in, but I know some dance teachers who prefer their students to use the full sole because it%26#039;s harder and makes their feet stronger. I think it%26#039;s really six of one / half dozen of the other, as to which one is better.
Reply:split sole is better because u can point ur foot better
Reply:split sole for sure plus if your still growing, it takes longer to grow out of and also, they are easier to fit into a small/ very full bag
Reply:Split sole is much better.

I had full sole shoes for over a year and when I finally switched back to split sole, my feet instantly looked and felt better! Split sole shoes make your feet look better, and as you get more experienced your teacher will probably recommend you buy split sole shoes. Split soles hug the arch better!!
Reply:get the split sole... its easier to form a full arch because it isnt constricted by the whole sole. Plus, eventually if your instructor knows what they%26#039;re talkin about, theyre just gunna make you switch anyway.
Reply:Whether one is proven to be better than the other I don%26#039;t know. But I definitely prefer split sole rather than full sole. Full sole doesn%26#039;t do anything for you but make it a little more hard to point your foot. It doesn%26#039;t compliment your arch AT ALL. Split soles compliment your arch and just seem to make everything much easier to do. I prefer Sansha split soles because they make a kind that%26#039;s leather with a canvas arch. Its the best shoe ever made. I love them!!!
Reply:Split sole.

Go try them on and point. Look at your feet and toes, see which looks better. But also go on feel, you know your feet better than anyone.
Reply:split sole is a lo better and easier to have!
Reply:Split soul and if possible get canvas shoes they hug your feet better and do much for your feet to look nice when you piont ur feet
