Blue or Green slippers?

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me me where I can buy colored (blue or green or yellow) soft leather ballet slippers. I wear an adult size 10 c width and have been looking on the net, but have come up empty...any suggestions?

Blue or Green slippers?
I%26#039;m afraid it is very difficult if not impossible to find colored leather slippers. I%26#039;d say buy white satin or canvas slippers and dye them with fabric dye. You can buy that dye at a supermarket in the laundry section. Keep in mind that they tend to shrink because of that, so you might have to buy your shoes in 1/2 size larger. I tried spray painting my old leather shoes before, but that made them stiffer. It kind of worked, but dyeing sating shoes worked much better.
Reply:we had to have colored pointe shoes for a dance one and could not find them anywhere

we ended up painting them but it made the shoes shrink, and them were uncomfortable to dance in.

the only actual ballet shoes i have seen have been in silver or gold and they were in a spring copy of a dance educators magazine
