How can I clean my ballet slippers?

I do ballet and I practice for about two hours, 5 days a week, and 5 on saturdays. It%26#039;s nasty, but I never clean my flats. I just buy a new pair when they start to look awful or smell. Well, I have a pair of black leather slippers that I love and have used for many preformances, and I don%26#039;t want to throw them out. How can I clean them?

Thanks

With a leather shoe cleaner.
Reply:Place them in the washer on delicate, large load so they will have plenty room.

Or you could hand wash them will gentle soap, rinse and throw them in the dryer.

You could take them to the local dry cleaning but i would do it myself personally!
Reply:you can just put them in the wash, but DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER!!! they will shrink!
